Cookie Policy
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when visiting a website, used to remember information (session, preferences) or measure audience. Some are essential for operation, others are optional.
2. Our approach
Fotelya uses the bare minimum. No advertising cookies, no third-party marketing cookies, no data resale. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. Audience measurement relies on Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool that places no cookie and reads no information on your device.
It also relies on a server-side tool (PostHog, servers located in Frankfurt). It does not place any cookie or identifier on your device either: your IP address is not sent to it; it is replaced by an irreversible technical fingerprint, renewed every day, which rules out any tracking from one day to the next.

When you visit a gallery, the cookies and browser local storage in this first row are limited to a random identifier specific to that gallery and, if the gallery is protected by a code, to proof that you entered it. They contain no name, no account and no address, allow no tracking from one site to another, and serve only to give you access to the gallery and to let you remove or edit what you posted there. They expire with it.
4. No advertising cookies
We do not use any targeted advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels, and we do not share any data for marketing purposes.
5. Managing your consent
Fotelya uses no cookie or tracker that requires consent: that is why no banner is shown to you. If this were to change, a banner would let you accept, refuse or customize your choices before anything is placed. You can configure your browser at any time to block or delete cookies; strictly necessary cookies remain essential to access a protected gallery and manage your own uploads.
