We compared the available services on what truly matters: ease of use for guests, a photo wall to display during the reception, the actual price, French-language support, and what happens to your data.

How we compared them

The prices and features cited were checked on the providers’ official websites on September 25, 2026, from France. Several sites display prices in your local currency or offer a currency selector; we show the currency displayed. When a provider does not publish a detail, we mark it “not stated” rather than inventing it. 1. Fotelya: the best all-round option

Best for : a complete wedding experience, from QR codes on the tables to a live projected photo wall, with a strong focus on data protection.

Fotelya brings together features often spread across different services: guests scan a QR code to share photos and videos, with no app or account; the gallery fills up in real time; the live photo wall can be displayed on a TV or projector in three styles (Polaroid, cinematic, mosaic); the guestbook accepts written messages (and voice messages on the Premium plan); photo challenges bring the tables to life. The couple stays in control: moderation (assisted by European AI, with the final decision always yours), a shared or private gallery, media removal, and ready-to-print QR posters and table cards. An honest limitation : Fotelya is a recent service (opened to the public in 2026), so it does not yet have a long history of customer reviews. The free plan is for trying it out: photos only (no videos), reduced resolution with a watermark, and a live wall visible only in the organiser’s preview. Multiple screens and the voice guestbook require the Premium plan.

2. GuestPix: multiple galleries and ready-to-print stationery

Best for : managing multiple galleries and choosing from a wide range of printable templates (more than 180 Canva templates advertised).

GuestPix describes itself as “the original QR Code photo-sharing platform for events”: app-free QR access, unlimited photos and videos, a slideshow, written and video guestbook entries, and moderation. The site is available in French.

Prices checked (one-time payment; prices in euros through the site’s currency selector, otherwise displayed in dollars): free trial limited to 50 photos; Classic €39 (1 gallery, 3 months for uploads, 12 months of hosting from the event); Signature €79 (custom themes, 12 months for uploads and hosting); Signature Pack €99 (3 galleries, 24 months from purchase). GuestPix states that data may be stored or processed in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands.

3. Weddie: table activities alongside photo sharing

Best for : adding table activities (photo bingo, a digital menu, wedding schedule and guest music suggestions) alongside photo collection.

Weddie works as a progressive web app, with nothing to install, and lets you download the album in original quality. The service describes itself as particularly popular in France.

Prices checked (one-time payment for the wedding): Light €99 (up to 80 guests, 50 photos or videos per person, 30 days to download); Gold €129 (unlimited guests and media, 365 days to download). A promotional code was displayed when we checked. The data hosting location is not stated.

4. Invinee: the service that highlights hosting in France

Best for : choosing a French provider that states “Data hosted in France.”

Invinee uses QR codes, with no app or registration for guests, and offers a digital guestbook and poster templates.

Prices checked (one-time payment): Standard €39 (up to 250 photos or videos, 1 year of storage); Essential+ €49 (unlimited media, ZIP download, live slideshow for the reception); Premium €89 (2 years of storage, personalised wedding website, audio guestbook). A free trial is available. Note: the live slideshow starts with the Essential+ plan.

5. WedShoots: the entirely free shared album

Best for : a zero-euro budget, if your guests are willing to install an app.

WedShoots, published by Mariages.net, is free: unlimited photos in a shared album, with high-definition downloads. It works differently from the other services on this list: each guest installs the app (iOS or Android), then joins the album with a code.

Price checked : free, with no pricing tiers. The retention period and hosting location are not stated.

6. WedUploader: files sent straight to your Google Drive

Best for : receiving guests’ photos and videos directly in your own Google Drive.

WedUploader takes a different approach: guests upload files through a link or QR code, for free and in original quality, and everything lands in the host’s Google Drive. Available capacity therefore depends on the storage in your Google account.

Prices checked (one-time payment, in euros or dollars depending on the site’s selector): Premium €29 (unlimited uploads and albums, real-time slideshow, guestbook with voice messages, customisation, access advertised with no end date); seating-plan add-on €19. Your media lives in your Drive, so its location depends on your Google account.

7. Lense: the disposable-camera experience, priced by guest count

Best for : recreating the disposable-camera experience, with a price closely tied to your group size.

Lense limits each guest to 25 shots (unlimited option for €11.99), with a live slideshow included and a complete album download after the event. Guests join by QR code, with no app or account. Photos are stored for 1 year in the app. Lense states that it stores photos on servers in the European Union.

Prices checked (displayed in euros from France, one-time payment): free for up to 7 guests, then €5.99 (25 guests), €17.99 (50), €39.99 (100), €49.99 (150), €69.99 (200), €79.99 (250), €99.99 (500). Video option for €9.99 (clips up to one minute). The site is in English.

8. POV: photos revealed later

Best for : the surprise of seeing every photo revealed at once the next day, like picking up prints from a photo lab.

POV follows the disposable-camera concept: a photo allowance per guest, followed by a delayed reveal. Guests join by QR code without installing the app; the host manages everything through the app or web.

Prices checked (in dollars, with a guest-count calculator): free for up to 10 guests, then $4.99 (25 guests), $14.99 (50), $34.99 (100), $64.99 (175), $89.99 (250), with custom pricing above that. The live slideshow is part of an optional paid package. The site is in English, the retention period is not stated, and POV says the service is hosted in the United States.

9. GuestCam: an audio guestbook, even by phone

Best for : making the audio guestbook the centrepiece, including messages by phone call (a call-in number is included with Premium).

GuestCam requires no app or account, with a live slideshow included in every plan and unlimited sub-galleries.

Prices checked (one-time payment per event, displayed in euros from France with higher crossed-out prices when we checked; the site’s FAQ lists $49 and $97): Standard €43 (6 months for uploads, 12 months of storage); Premium €86 (12 months for uploads, 14 months of storage, 6 main galleries, 30 themes). Custom logos and colours are available on request. The site is in English; GuestCam states that it uses US-based storage providers.

10. Wedbox: a dedicated app for the couple, with a photo booth

Best for : couples who prefer a dedicated app, with a photo booth on a phone or tablet and the photographer’s photos in the same album.

Wedbox advertises an app available in 18 languages. The couple uses the app; guests upload photos and videos directly from their browser, without an app. A real-time slideshow can be shown on a screen, and photos and videos can be downloaded in original quality.

Prices checked : free app; photos are kept free for 2 months after the wedding, then hosting can be extended for $2.50 per month. The site is in English, and the hosting location is not stated.

Other options worth knowing

Kululu offers a real-time live photo wall with no app for guests, and one-time plans priced in dollars before tax: free (100 uploads, a 24-hour upload window, 7 days of storage), Plus $39 (500 uploads, 3 months of storage, bulk download), Pro $99 (unlimited uploads, 1 year of storage, moderation). A banner advertised a limited-time discount when we checked. The site is in English; Kululu states that it stores data on servers in the United States.

Pix Wedding works without an app or account, preserves original quality, and offers a film mode that hides photos until their reveal. Prices displayed in euros from France were promotional when we checked (regular prices in parentheses): Starter €45 (€68), without a slideshow; Standard €55 (€83), with a live slideshow, audio guestbook and 1 year of storage; Pro €82 (€123), with 2 years of storage. The service is operated from Azerbaijan; the country where data is stored is not specified.

Wedsy, a French provider, offers one plan for a one-time payment of €49: unlimited guests, a live gallery for the reception, audio guestbook, automatic moderation, high-quality ZIP download and 1 year of storage, plus a free trial kept for 90 days. Guest videos are limited to 30 seconds according to the homepage (1 minute 30 seconds according to the terms of use). Data is stated to be hosted in the European Union (Ireland). The site is in French.

Fotify, published by a US company, combines live photos, invitations with RSVPs and a seating plan. A live photo carousel is included in every plan; prices in euros include tax: free (50 photos, 7 days), Photo Gallery €29.99 (unlimited full-resolution photos, gallery for 90 days), Premium €49.99 (guest videos, unlimited RSVPs, seating plan), Professional €79.99. The site is in French; the data hosting location is not stated.

Wedibox brings photos, videos and a voice guestbook together under one QR code, with RSVPs and a seating plan on the All-In-One plan, and no app for guests. One-time prices are displayed in dollars with a currency selector: free (50 photos, no guestbook or slideshow), Wedding $49 or €45 (live slideshow, 1 year of storage, original-quality ZIP), All-In-One $79 or €73 (2 years of storage, RSVPs, seating plan). The site is in French; the photo hosting location is not stated.
